Hands-on care, chosen for you
Chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy and rehab exercises, for the whole family. Dr. Barton finds the true problem, fixes it, then leaves it alone: no unnecessary treatments.
The heart of it
Chiropractic adjustments
Chiropractic is the manipulation, by hand, of the spine to affect the nerves and muscles, including the disks and the overall alignment of the spine. Dr. Barton uses a range of natural chiropractic manipulation techniques (CMT) rather than over-the-counter or prescription medicine, which may only mask the pain and the problem.
During an adjustment she uses her hands to move a joint. You may hear a “pop” or “click”, like cracking your knuckles, and feel a sense of movement. Some people feel a little stiffness or soreness for the first few days.

Massage therapy
Dr. Barton also uses massage therapy to relieve pain and help muscle tissue recover. It’s lettered right on the front window.
Our massage therapist: Kim Carollo. Ask about a massage when you book.
Get moving
Exercise therapy & rehab
Treatment includes rehab exercises to improve how you function. Through stretches and exercises, rehabilitation strengthens the parts of the body that influence posture and movement, to correct poor posture and imbalanced movement and lower the chance of the problem coming back.
- Disk rehab
- Balance and fall prevention
- Activities of daily living: getting through your day more easily
- Posture correction
At the office and at home
Heat & ice therapy
Heat can ease stiff joints and tight tissue; ice can calm inflammation and short-term pain after an injury. Dr. Barton will tell you which to use, when, and for how long.
Everyday habits
Posture & ergonomics
Ergonomics means “fitting the job to the worker”. How you sit, stand, carry and sleep shapes how your back feels, so your plan can include changes at your desk and at home.
